The problem with MonoPrice is that they are notorious for resourcing for the same product. if you order 3 times, you might get product from 3 different suppliers.

Anyway, lets see what happens with people test it.

Sorry, kind of took my thread off on a tangent, when I'm really just trying to find the best bang for my buck.  Right now, I use Octave, but if I can get something equal or better for less, I'm gonna be all over it.

So that comes to $28.20/spool. If you're running a business and you can save 10% of your material costs, it would be worth considering. If you're a hobbyist and go through a spool a month, I doubt it would ever be worth it (unless the quality of the black is better than expected; Octave Black is notoriously bad.)

I contacted Monoprice customer service asking if they had any sample pictures of items made using this filament and they have not yet responded. When I see something, I'll post an update here. In the meantime, if you're not afraid of clogging a nozzle, there's no reason not to try it; it's cheap.

Anyone out there tried it yet?
