Solidoodle LLC

December 18th Shipping Update

Greetings!

Happy holidays from Solidoodle. We're working around the clock to assemble your printer as soon as possible, while still maintaining our rigid quality control standards. We're happy to report that to date we've shipped over 1800 printers.

Production is picking up at a rapid pace. We've got a great team of over 60 people and we're now able to ship about 150-200 printers per week.

We have been very pleased with the positive reaction to the launch of the Solidoodle 3. We hope that you are excited about the improvements that we are making to the Solidoodle.

As of the writing of this letter the most recent order shipped is #3827.

August Orders
We should be finishing up August orders this coming week. There are less than 20 August orders left.

September Orders
We expect to begin shipping September orders on December 17th and finish them on December 31st, for a total of 250 printers. This concerns order IDs 4075 through 4782.

October Orders
October orders should begin shipping on New Years day and finish shipping by January 18th. This concerns order IDs 4782 through 5470, and accounts for about 200 printers.

November Orders
November orders should begin on January 19th. We anticipate November orders to take 2 weeks to clear, finishing in full by February 4th. This of course excludes Solidoodle 3 orders, which should begin shipping earlier in the month. November orders involve order IDs 5473 through 6196

We hope you're excited! We appreciate your continued patience, given our unprecedented demand. We have thousands of happy customers already printing with their Solidoodle's all around the world. We assure you, it's well worth the wait. We can't wait to see what you're going to create.

DePartedPrinter,
LOL! Man, you are SO right. What this start-up company needs is a rain maker that really knows how to take the company to the next level. I'm smart enough to know that I'm not the guy, but he or she is out there. They are trying valiantly, and I give them credit for trying to keep up, but there's gonna come a point to which, six sigma or not, they are going to have to up their professionalism. Sam should stay on as CEO...he's smart, no doubt, but even smart people should look at input options. I'm proud of what they've done so far though, on their own...kudos for the hard work!!! And I REALLY hope they find the right setup and make it big time. Keep at it, guys (and girls). A lot of people are rooting for you...:)

LOL! Thanks everybody for the input. This is a great forum. I'm glad to be a part! I'll hopefully look for my printer in the January "realm". As for Sigma, as your CEO knows it's a process that has to remain tightly focused in order to be effective. The best by-product of our "Sigma-tism" (I couldn't resist, lol) is that each team member is far more aware of possible issues and variations and are actively trying to reduce them. To what level we can transcend, well that remains to be seen. Thanks again!!!

PS: Thanks for the hit back, support. I know y'all are very busy! Have a great Holiday Season!

Kevin
