That might be more of a slicing issue, with small gaps that don't divide evenly by thread width. Do they appear in the gcode preview? You can try upgrading Slic3r if it isn't current version, or try KISSlicer which does a better job filling small areas.

so I picked up some hairspray and binder clips today to give this glass=/hairspray a whirl... wow what a difference in adhesion the part is really stuck on there!. why isn't a glass bed standard or at least an option for most printers? gotta be cheaper than polyimide tape..

even with the adjusted flowrate I still have some unwanted anomalies in t he circles.

it in Rhoust In the manual controls. that did work! I just moved it from 100 to 105 and the next layer the gaps were closed..

I have another problem with the circles having gaps too but ill see if this fixes that problem too.

The spacing is a little inconsistent, so it might be that the extruder isn't keeping up. Look carefully at the bearing and see if it ever pauses as it turns, and check the gear for plastic dust. It's possible that it is having a little trouble extruding, and rather than skipping (which you can hear) it's stripping the filament a little bit.

As it prints, try turning up the flowrate slider a little bit. If it fills in the gaps evenly, then you can adjust the extrusion multiplier by whatever percent you increased the slider. If it starts to fill some of the gaps but leaves others, then there might be a partial blockage or a little too much friction in the PEEK. Keep in mind it will take a few lines for the slider to take effect. It has to run through the commands that are in the buffer before getting to the updated flow rate.

So after replacing the Y stepper and doing the "perfect circles" video again, re-leveling the bed, I try doing some simple prints. right away I start noticing problems.

In my first layers I notice there is spaces in between the layers, my extrusion multiplier is .82 federate and flowrate at both 100. and I recaluculated the steps per min and updated the EPROM. (maybe I should redo that??)
