Thanks for your PMs Tim. I've soldered direct to the pads and pretty much confirmed a dodgy relay so I swapped the 2 and it seems to be ok for now. Will give it a good test in the morning.

A better thing to check is the two terminals the heater wires are connected to - there should be 12v if the OUT light is illuminated.

Hi guys,

I may be in the market for a new controller as mine is crazy. It's the Mypin model.

It works fine most of the time and sits at 180 degrees just fine for hours on end. It will then just stop and slowly everything cools down.

Leaving it off didn't help after a few hours but in the morning (this morning) it seemed to be working fine.

I watching it for a few minutes climb to about 50 degrees before hitting and holding down the AT button to try autotune it. After a few minutes it started doing the same thing where the temp just drops and drops until it's room temp.

Not sure what's up with it as all the wiring is correct and like I said it was working fine (I've run about half of the sample pellets through it).

It's not really worth returning the controller to Tim for a new one if it is faulty and I'm just wondering if I can get one locally (UK)?

thanks,
Chris
