I would check the set screws on the gear attached to the motor and on the rod and make they are tight.

It seems to only occur when I use the internet (it would be nice to use my computer when I print for other things) and on my desktop running windows 8 *mutters curses*. My laptop, which broke, ran it fine every time. Any thoughts or help are appreciated! Ah, and running Repetier Host and Solidoodle 3.
