I have an SD3 and an interest in amateur astronomy/telescope making.  I'm a member of the Springfield Telescope Makers and currently vice-president of the Antique Telescope Society.  Other than hacking/screwing around with the printer, I'm interested in how it can help replicate parts to old telescopes or print components that don't necessarily need to be made of metal but typically are.

In any case, I'm deeply appreciative of all the help members have already provided and am learning a lot.
