			<title><![CDATA[Peek (hot end) retainer for a jigsaw w/o the wooden plate]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[<p>For those who removed the wooden plate from their solidoodle extruder and found the hot end wobbly at times. </p><p>I made a retainer to secure the hot end.</p><br /><p>It is on thingiverse.&nbsp; thing:107171</p><p>Update: <br />The reason I discarded the wooden mount was for convenience - to easily unmount the hot end. With this reatainer I am not wholly happy that I have to remove 3 screws to un-mount the hot end. So I designed a second retainer that is attached to the jigsaw with only one screw - the one you have to remove anyway because it is pinching the hot end to the jigsaw.</p><p>I added the new stl to same thingiverse thing, not replaced it, so the old thing is still available.</p><p>Attached pics for each for comparison.</p>]]></description>
