Thanks for the suggestion.  It was actually your process that inspired me to come up with this idea.  So far my brackets have held on for the past week with 4 to 5 hours of printing every day.

Can you drill a hole in the bracket and put it through the heated be screws (1 in back, 2 in front)? It would solve your problem of the glue loosing strength when heated.

Yea, there is enough room in the brackets where that could be done.  I was hoping for two brackets on each side, however, to give the glass plate a snug fit.

So far, I've had the bed heated up since my original post.  They have held so far.

I took the Hangers and cut them in half and then I glued them to the heat bed using E6000.  It is an industrial type glue that you can get at walmart, in a little tube.  I don't know if it will hold up to the heat, as it doesn't mention anything on the tube.  But I already had it.  If they fall off, I will just use something else if the idea works out well.

As you can see, the tips just barely rise above the 1/4 glass that I am using.

Right now I only have two sides fitted with these hangers.  It turns out that my glass was not cut straight, and it was cut slightly less than 8x8.  So, for now I will have to use one paper clip until I can get another piece of glass cut.
