			<title><![CDATA[fine tune the floating shafts alignment]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[<p>With two clamps, 4&quot; ratchet bar clamp/spreader (harbor freight 2$) Pittsburg item number 46805, two cheap dial indicators arranged as in photos I loosened the shaft timing bearings and stoked the y axis adjusting the belt alignment until the indicators showed less than .002&quot; of travel over the full stroke of the carriage. Eyeballing the alignment of the belts to each other showed me which timing bearing to move. The shaft ended up about 1/8&quot; outside the frame on one side and even with the frame on the other. Make sure to have the indicators the same penetration into the holder to insure the spring pressure is equal on each side.<br />The holder I used was Pittsburgh Dial Indicator Holder with 8mmx2mm Magnets from Thingiverse. I think it worked great.</p>]]></description>
