Calibrate for the Flow Rate. I have that issue when the gear slips on the gear shaft. I used a sharpie to mark the gear and the gear shaft. If it slips the marks will no longer be lined up and you'll need to tighten the gear down.

You could also cut the infill speed way down and see if that improves things. The down side would be that prints would take a lot longer to print.

Try infilling on every layer, rather than every third. One possibility is that you are getting adhesion issues. This is worsened since the extruder is now three times the layer height above the surface you are depositing on, and it can't push down on the filament properly as it extrudes. Thus, if you have any problems with adhesion, the filament will just drag along with the extruder and make a mess.

Yes RH and already using infill every 3 layers with .2 fill density. The Fill Pattern is Rectilinear and the Top/Bottom fill pattern is Concentric.

Final piece is not so pretty. It seems I cant get fine lines stay connected. This is using Octave grey ABS, but I was getting similar results with Solidoodles Natural filamement.

Hmmm, I assume you use RH as your interface, I recommend setting your infill to "Infill every 3 layers" instead of infill every 1 layers when printing in .1 mm resolution. See if that works. I haven't tried it, but I am going on the idea that mine infills fine every layer when printing .3 mm resolution, so infill every third layer during .1 mm prints = every .3 mm basically, maybe it may work? Maybe just try setting it to infill every 2 layers first, wouldn't hurt to try anyway.

HTH!

Edit: Please let us know, I will be attempting a .1 mm print for the first time tomorrow.

I have trying prints for a month or 2 with my S3 and the default .3 mm profile with slic3r works pretty well. The .1mm totaly fails to do the infill crosshatches. It looks like a mess leaving the top surfaces with gaps. Suggestions? I have not calibrated my extruding ever since the .3 worked fine.
