			<title><![CDATA[Open filament firmware on daVinci 1.1 Plus?]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[<p>Has anyone updated their daVinci 1.0 or 1.1 with the Open Filament Project firmware?<br />I was able to successfully updated the firmware but maybe I expected it to work like the Mini printer.</p><p>The printer doesn&#039;t seem to check the material of the model anymore and <br />it doesn&#039;t seem to check the remaining filament length anymore.<br />It does just print the model with the cartridge installed.</p><p>But I wasn&#039;t able to print without a cartridge though.<br />I can&#039;t seem to load filament without installing a cartridge and I can&#039;t take it out before printing.<br />Maybe my expectations were a bit too high....</p><p>I only have a iMac at work and created the model with the XYZWare for MacOS.<br />I created a model with XYZWare and used an USB stick to print it.</p><p>Was anyone able to print without a cartridge when using the Pro-e program on Windows?<br />Or do I maybe need to connect the printer to USB maybe?</p>]]></description>
