Ian is already printing at 0.1mm and I've also already printed some functional lego pieces at 0.3mm without doing any calibration (ever). I'm pretty sure the solidoodle2 is up to that task.

Here is one solution for your situation. I've seen pics of lego parts but I imagine the printer might struggle to get small details in accurately. You will need to have a nice setup so the plastic doesn't warp or sag.
