This would be wired up to the switches and ground pin on the PID unit. Hopefully it didn't find its way into your garbage. sad

I just have to connect the power to get it up and running, and that is where I hit a wall. I got more confused when I was told that I do not need to cut the end of the power cable.

If the end of the cable does not need to be cut, how do I connect it to the power supply to the Filastruder? The instructions are unclear, there is no female for the plug, so am I just supposed to solder the wires to the end of the coaxial power connector?

From there you can wire it up as detailed in the instructions.

do not be so quick to throw in the towel. Tim (elormet)  is a busy man running a business. And may have a full time job as well. It may take a couple days for him to respond here.
IMHO it is generally assumed that these kits be assembled by experienced electrical/electronics DIYers.
therefore the newbie has a few things to learn along the way.
If you are truly missing parts please contact Tm via his web site and put in a request.
there are many ways of making sound electrical connections. I expect a crimp on spade connector is what you need but no visual reference i do not know.

I haven't cut it yet, and the instructions aren't clear.

Are the wires inside the power supply cable labeled or am I missing something?
