Yes, the pin 8/9 jumper is needed.

Your kit is not working because you have connected the thermocouple incorrectly, leading the PID controller to think the temperature is negative.

in another forum someone indicated that a bridge had to be made between pin 8 and 9 but it still didn't work

Why is there a connection to pin 8 on the PID while the diagram does not show one.?

yesterday I assembled my filastruder I read the manual and saw some videos and I would assemble it well I would say. the problem is that when turning on the machine it does not heat and I do not think there is a button to start the temperature. check the manual and everything is fine. the wiring is also correct followed the steps to the letter. and I don't know why it doesn't heat up. and I can't think of anything anymore. please appreciate your help
