I found out my DaVinci Mini Maker will work if I connect it with octoprint so I can just load it up with sliced gcode and print without ever having to be connected to my PC. I've been using Cura but I'm prusa slicer would work this way as well. I'll try to set it up later and see if I can print and let you know.

I think you need to downloads a control interface like repitier host . this has slic3r, prusa slic3r and cura built in.

Hello

The Original Software of the XYZ ist one of the worst piece of shit I ever seen!

It crashed often on my Mac. A couple of times the connection to the printer wasn't properly so I wasn't able to pause a Print.
Every second .stl file needs to be repaired. It place the .stl in strange proportion and it also resize the original without any reason.

So I look for Alternative Solutions

1) I tried the Cura but wasn't able to get it work with 1.3.3 Firmware. The Print button doesn't appear only the Save File Button. With the instructions of XYZPrinting on their website I wasn't able to get it work

2) Simplify3D has no demo version :-(

3) Then I found Slic3r which has nice GUI an I can connect to the printer!

4) A college of me showed me his PrusaSlicer with should also work with the "da vinci 3D Printer", because it is also based on Slic3r. I tried to get it work but I have no controller interface to select the correct 3D Printer. Is the any help available ?

Is there a workaround to get the Controller Menu available in PrusaSlicer?
