			<description><![CDATA[<p>Hi guys,</p><p>I&#039;m in a pickle and need your expert advice.</p><p>I&#039;ve been printing this small part that attaches to a DC motor and I can&#039;t seem to get it right.</p><p>I figured out that the printer is over-extruding, so I went and calibrated the E step. Indeed the step count needed to be reduced. I pushed the changes to EEPROM using Matter Control as told by the internet.</p><p>I print again and the part still looks over-extruded. I try and reduce the material flow to 80%, it looks better from the outside, but you can clearly see that the layers are actually separated. The dimensions are now OK, I can mount it on the shaft of the DC motor, but since it&#039;s now a bit hollow, it can&#039;t hold any torque (it slips). Any ideas what to do? Is the temperature still to high?</p><p> - the printer is claiming I&#039;m printing at 180°C<br /> - using 3DE Premium PLA, 1.75mm<br /> - 0.4mm nozzle<br /> - 55°C heat bed temp.<br /> - 100% infill<br /> - 0,11mm layer<br /> - print speed 1500,0mm/min (outline - reduced to 80%)</p><p>Have a look:</p><p><span class="postimg"><img src="http://soliforum.com/i/?5LATb8S.jpg" alt="http://soliforum.com/i/?5LATb8S.jpg" /></span><br />The one on the right is printed using calibrated E-step, the left one also has flow reduced to 80%.<br /><span class="postimg"><img src="http://soliforum.com/i/?SMtV5KN.jpg" alt="http://soliforum.com/i/?SMtV5KN.jpg" /></span><br />See the layer separation on the left one due to reduced material flow.</p><p>Thanks in advance!</p><p>Mati</p>]]></description>
