I have a 1.0 AiO and am not very happy with ABS prints. Layers tend to separate on larger parts. I know I can port the machine to another firmware but I don't want to lose the scanner. I've been able to improve a little using the trainer http://www.soliforum.com/topic/ … e-trainer/ hack. I also downloaded the pro version of XYZWare and was able to print a part once. The odd thing is, it ignored the fact that I don't have a pro machine the first time but after that, it refused to print throwing a wrong machine signature error. The print that came out was, however, better than those from the normal slicer. So, I have two questions:

Other than the better parameter control, what is the difference between pro and normal versions?

How can I make the pro version ignore my printer type and just get on with it?

Thanks.
