Hi Carl,

I did the manual calibration now instead and also used Prusa I3 as a base in Cura. THe G-Code provided from some tutorials for start/end might be a bit off too but it not prints! Thanks for your help.

No just one problem left to sort . Created another thread, different kind of issue.

Never use auto leveling if possible do it manually. There is a guide stickied here if your bed is adjustable.

Hi Guys,

I was quite happy to pick up a DaVinci 1.0a for a bargain of $125. First thing I did of course was after functionality checks to flash Repertier as I don't wont to be stuck with the proprietary slicer and filament cartridges.

This is not my first 3D printer, had an i3 clone and also got an Anycubic Delta. But the DaVinci left me pulling my hair.

At the beginning of the print process, after bed levelling, the nozzle hits right the side of the bed. I have followed a number of different YT tutorials attempting Auto Calibration as well as doing it manually oldschool with a sheet of paper.

What I observed is that the probe measures my bed in the ranges of -5.x to -8x. In the YT tutorial I see numbers of -1.2 to -1.8.

Is that the source of my problem? If I bring the bed up, the Auto leveling e.g. would always fail (probe failure).
