Hello all. I just replace my bad and brocken hotend with an e3d hotend from amazon. I had to cut the ends off hte old davinci heater, therm-resistor, and fan so that i could wire the new parts up to the PCB.

Here is the issue. When i try to load a spool, the hot end does indeed get hot, but the temp stays at 10C. to me, its either shorted or a bad therm-resistor.

The amazon page doesnt tell me what type the therm-resisteor it is, but im hoping its a 100k

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06XB … &psc=1

Here is a pic of the wireing: everything seems fine to me. i soldered the old NTC connector to the new NTC wires and wraped in shrink tubing, then taped. When it WAS in the original hotend from davinci, the copper wires were exposed, just like they are now.

thanks
