If you see the video, not only does it stop raising or lowering the platform, the display stops responding entirely too sad The only solution is to turn it off/on again - only to have it do the same thing. I'm suspecting a maybe a circuitry or motherboard problem as the hardware seems to be in fine working order.

The platform should be moving in very tiny steps when you rotate the knob. So tiny in fact it may take several rotations to notice. This is where you are telling the machine the relative home positions before it fine tunes them using the endstops.

So I'm walking into the middle of this situation, but it's fallen on me to fix it-

I have an Ultimaker 2+ that is freezing shortly after startup. I recently reset the machine because before when it was turned on, the dial wouldn't respond at all. Having been reset, it will now turn on and go through a few of its start-up steps right up until you have to turn the dial to begin homing and then freeze! -  I posted a video here > https://vimeo.com/368441454

I thought I would ask here to see if anyone is familiar with this problem before I spend my morning on the phone with Ultimaker.
