Tough PLA has an impact strength similar to ABS and higher stiffness compared to ABS,after that, tough PLA is less prone to warping and delamination compared to ABS.In summary, Tough PLA is a good middle ground if you're looking for a material that is easier to print with than ABS, offers better impact resistance than standard PLA, and is more eco-friendly. However, if you need parts that will be used in high-temperature environments or require the utmost in durability, ABS filament may still be the better choice.

it is labeled as engineering grade.
I expect other brands have similar claims. I have a sample of there pro pla and I do not use abs so no real experience.

for real head to head data look up CNC Kitchen  on You tube He has built a DIY tension tester and impact test machine. and has done extensive testing with various material and machine settings.
