Instead it used thermocouples that where bolted to the side of the heatblock. If the screws securing them get loose that will cause temp reading fluctuations.

I thought it was the filament at first but then I noticed my temp fluctuating. I set yp to run ABS
I have the temp set to 241°c and while printing the left extruder fluctuates from 241°C to about 205°C
I am trying to figure out if it is the heater, thermistor, or board
which one do you think is the most likely culprit.
