New FLAT build plate.  This worked better than I even expected!  I ran a test print of small parts, located in each corner and the center - they all came off with similar effort /ease, and the squish of the first layer looks closer than I have ever seen, if not identical,

The connector I decided to use  has pins rated for 6 amps, and I paralleled 4 for each side of the heater.    I can post pictures later.

the only data I see is a power consumption rating of 200 -220 wats so base your amps on that and you should be safe.

I'll have to wait for the long print to end before I can mess with the one running.  The printer I'm working on, the connection is bad enough, I wouldn't trust it to give me an accurate reading.   Was just hoping someone knew.  Are there any schematics or service manuals available for these printers?

All you need is to know two values then applied ohms law. You need the system voltage and the resistance of the bed. Measure the resistance with a DMM directly at the bed terminals while power is off and disconnected from controller. Once you have those values you simply divide the voltage by resistance and gives you the current.

You should be able to put a mete on it then use ohm law

10 ohms would give you  2.4 amps or just under 60 watts.

THIS is just a ballpark GUESS

Tim I am not trying second guess you but from my experience most bed heaters are very low resistance like in the neighborhood of 2 to 4 ohms. They are usually the highest consumer of current in a printer and usually pull 7 or more amps at initial heating and will drop off a bit once up to temp and bang bang kicks in.
