I just installed a BL Touch auto bed level on my CR-10S using this, https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=U98V1nMwLKk, YouTube video for the firmware upgrade and this, https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=y_1Kg45APko, YouTube video for calibrating the z-offset. Everything went well with the installation and the firmware customization and upload. I’m pretty sure I’ve got the wiring correct. The BL Touch self checks and doesn’t show any faults on power up. The issue I have is during the z-offset calibration one of the first things you do is home all axis. When I did this, my nozzle crashed into my bed. I figured this may be normal since during installation you disconnect the z axis switch and haven’t calibrated it yet, so I raised the z axis manually through the menu and proceeded with the calibration. The rest of the procedure went well. I wrote the new z-offset to the EPROM and confirmed it was written correctly and stored it using M500. I set it as active using M501 and then read the settings with M503 and everything checked out. When I homed axis again, nozzle crashes into the bed again. Same thing when I issue G28 through Simplify3d.

Any ideas what could be going on...?
