you dont want to scan black unless you like days of cleanup work removing non-model objects from scan

You are using the latest version of the software. Versions 1.22 and earlier of FreeLSS had a Calibrate Lasers button that would perform basic calculations of the laser planes. In version 1.23 this was replaced with a much more accurate checkerboard calibration algorithm that calibrates the laser planes, the table plane, and the center of rotation.

Hi dhg6 it sounds like you may not have the latest version of the software. Can you click the settings page and let me know what version of FreeLSS is displayed there?

Hello I finished the latest kit with the acrylic enclosure. Some features in setup and calibration are non existent such as laser calibration. when I scan I get nothing in preview either after hitting refresh. I tried to updated and it said error wit no message. Please help I can give specifics upon request. Thank you in advance.
And after completing calibration the calibration info window shows
Hardware has not been calibrated.
Table Center: (0,-3.25,-10.25) in.
Table Normal: (0,1,0)
Right Laser Location: (4.95,3.25,10.25) in.
Right Laser Normal: (-0.7071,0,0.7071)
Left Laser Location: (-4.95,3.25,10.25) in.
Left Laser Normal: (-0.7071,0,-0.7071)
