Just measure the black tray the glass sits in. Just allow room for it to drop in rather than need to be forced in.

This is no longer a huge risk as someone has posted software for rolling back firmware. Just make sure the software works on your printer prior to upgrading.

Often, manufacturers will use firmware updates to detect and disable hacks and work-arounds, though I am not aware of this being implemented by XYZ yet. If you're satisfied with the performance of your printer with the current firmware, leave it as-is... my opinion.

I have da Vinci Junior 1.0 with firmware 2.2.7
With the APP for my phone "NTAG Refill Tool" I can use Ntag213 from Ebay and any filament.
With the new XYZprint version 1.3.0 I can control print speed, layer height, and many more settings.

I love this little printer

Is there any reason to update the firmware ?
