WORF22
I've cleaned up the mesh and made it manifold (except slic3r seems to think there's a hole in there somewhere) and it will slice correctly (in both Kisslicer and slic3r, I tested).

The model was awash with intersecting facets so it's a good guess that it was composed of 3-4 meshes that were just laid up together. Not a way to create a printable model, but if you're using sketchup I can kind of understand. Don't get me wrong, sketchup is a great program and can create objects that will print, but in this case the software just didn't export right so that's what was putting your model in hock.

Enjoy!

Edit: I took some liberties such as making the model fully flat on the bottom so that it will not need supports to print. I figure it's a small price to pay... If you want it as 2 pieces I can facilitate that as I have the meshes that I re-created it with.

This insignia is also non-manifold, but for the reasons that I stated above. The objects were combined and not booleaned so the slicer looks at all the meshes and finds them to be intersecting and then just goes crazy. I'm looking at cleaning it up as netfabb probably won't do a thing to this structure.

Have not checked the model ... but i'm not sure that the problem only (or is) that it's non-manifold.
What I suspect, is that the normals are flipped, this causes the same kind of problems anyway (and also looks the same in sketchup)

Solution :
Select the inverted faces and right click. Then click on "Reverse Faces."

If I misunderstood the term non-manifold then i'm sorry, I haven't had a look at the actual model.

True, but I think that I could make it work without support. Some gentle curves supporting from the lower pieces you should be able to create this support-less. It's how I make bayonet connections when I need them to print standing up.

Edit: On second glance, it could be done without supports if all the overhangs went to z=0, that is to say, the insignia and the inner circle went all the way through the model. Not sure if this is what is causing the issue in the first place as I'm not sure how Sketchup handles boolean unions in objects; whether it actually booleans them to create a watertight mesh or if it just combines the objects which would be worse and probably what causes a slicer to bork up like that.
Either way, the piece is probably do-able in 1 piece, but you could split it to 3 pieces and paint them separately before gluing them together.

I still think you should start off with simpler items. You'll need to enable support on your trek thing because there are unsupported surfaces that will not print without support enabled.

You can scale it on the object placement page. looks like .1 is a good start.
When I start to run it it came up with warnings, so you need to upload it to NetFab to fix it http://cloud.netfabb.com/
The 1st thing I print is Actual 0.5mm thin wall 20 mm box http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:37137 to make sure the Filiament multiplier is right.
Good luck

Apart from the scale, which if you bring it down to 10% seems about right, there are a few issues with the model.

The blue areas are showing the model inside out and the circles show a point where the model is non-manifold which is why you only got a few lines of print.
You could go through the whole file and fix every issue and end up with a nice print (with support obviously) or just find another model that needs less work.

If you fix it post a pic of the final print, it is quite a detailed model, someone has put a lot of time in to it.
