I have heard of putting citric acid on a print bed and that making PLA stick to it better, but never putting it in the actual filament. PE is a little flexible, but even if you got it evenly mixed I imagine that would only decrease bed adhesion because of its nonstick tendencies. Personally I would try it by itself first. Then if needed look for “PLA flex modifier”. Put the citric acid on your build plate, not in your filament, if you end up needing to try it for build plate adhesion.

Hi,

I just bough some PLA pellets from Australian cardia bioplastics BL-F02 - the resseller said that, to make filament from this PLA you have to add 1% of citric acid and some PE to make it less brittle and adhere better to the heatbed.

Anyone tryed any of these 2 things to PLA? Does it make any sense?

Thank you!
