yeah but it had its faults too is why it was replaced with upgrade soon. its funny as the first makerbot machine was same size made of all wood and cost more at same time then both companies upgraded to bigger more metal units but Solidoodle kept price lower while makerbot tripled their price. dont make since how they didnt close down when they became non-competitively priced just when hundreds more new 3D printer makers began undercutting them.

There are multiple review showing similar picture stating this is solidoodle original (is solidoodle original = solidoodle 1?), and the build volume is 4X4X4 inch. However, they also state it is it’s cheap or at reasonable price ($699) and very popular (and we are struggling find out how it looks like with the help of google).

But I'm sure your are asking the right question at right forum, I think.
