			<description><![CDATA[<p>the greater majority are going to be M6, but unless the maker of your hotend states it clearly in the documentation, the only way to know for sure is to take it off and measure.</p><p>filament diameter has very little to do with the nozzle thread sizing - for example, you can get versions of the E3D line to run either 3mm filament, or 1.75mm filament, but the nozzle thread size is the same - 6mm</p><p>the differences lie with the manufacturer, not the filament size.</p>]]></description>

			<title><![CDATA[Size matters.]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[<p>I just thinking a second ago.</p><p>Boy was that a head rush...</p><p>Anyhow, Printer Nozzles, how do you tell, apart from trial and erro and taking the thing off, know what nozzle size as in physical size not hole size the thing is?</p><p>M6 M7 M8 ? </p><p>Any other sizes?</p><p>Would moving up to 3mm filament improve things and does it mean a new head or just a nozzle? </p><p>I tried asking the interwebs and they didn&#039;t seem to understand the question.</p><p>As for my nozzle, there is nothing on the outter edges to indicate its Diameter and thread pitch.</p>]]></description>
