There are many ways to set up a machine. But you need to set stings that make sense to you but more importantly the machine.
From my experience some machines are set up with the home position (0,0,0) being the front right corner of the machine. Some machine home is the back right corner. . So do make this (0,0,0) or say 200, 200, 0) either one works but this will effect your extruders and manual direction input. Unless you can think backwards go with the latter.

Run a manual extrusion test to see which extruder is witch you should calibrated them and run a pid tune anyway. so now is good time to calibrate them and see which one is witch.

Makes sense to me that the lower number is the lower coordinate value.

That said i do not own a duel extruder machine or a davinci. I do own 5 printers two of witch are kit builds.

Hello,
i am a little bit worried about the Names of the 2 extruder of the Duo 2.0a

I have flashed my printer with Repetier 0.92 and it works good but not perfect.

When i look in EEporom Settings i will see the Name Extr1 and Extr2 (in german Version). in a another Forum i hve see the decleration Extr0 and Extr1.

Which Extruder is ment????? Is the extruder with the lower Number the left one or the right one?

I have Probleme with the offset of the Extruder. I can do an Offset in the EEprom and in the config of from Repetier i can do an additional offset. Must i set the offset of the Extruder only in the EEprom or/and must i set it in Repetier too?

When i flash Repetier to the Printer, i habe the offset -2852 (in Area Extruder 2). When right/behind is Zero and the positiv directon is left then must be Extruder left the 1 and Extruder right the 2.

Is this Correctly?
