I had a power failure the other day during a Print while I was asleep so the machine had time for the nozzle and print bed to cool down. After I realized it, I checked and found the message saying something about resuming the print so I went ahead and tried it and the print started from where it left off and successfully finished. I was a little worried at first whether or not the new layer would stick to the older one but it did and you couldn’t even tell where the power failure occurred in the finished print. I was using S3D as my software if that makes any difference and my printer is the XYZ Pro 1.0.

I sent a job to my 1.0 Pro to be printed using Simplify3D and while it was warming up I decided to make a modification to the item so then I didn't want to print it. I shut the printer off to (brute force) cancel that print.

When I turned the printer back on it said something to the effect "unfinished print found" then asked me if I want to continue it or cancel it. Of course I canceled it.

But this was quite a surprise. When did this get added? I don't pay much attention to XYZ since I use S3D.

I may do it again and try the continue just to see...
