Is there a way to send commands to the above printer? i want to calibrate the extruder by sending a command to print 100mm of filament.

I am using S3D so can adjust the multiplier but is there a way to edit the firmware and adjust the stepper config (steps per mm) if it needs adjusting?

Changing the multiplier is not a proper way to calibrate the extruder. You must change the steps per mm which is impossible on any XYSi product running stock firmware that is not open source. The stock firmware will also not accept console commands directly since the stock firmware uses an encrypted gcode structure.

This is the entire issue with XYZ machines and the main reason people gut them and convert them to RAMPS or other logic.
