Also the step motor smoother are very hot on facebook group now, many claim it can make step motor quieter.

I have not personally tried them yet, but get many positive feed back on facebook group. I would only use them on the axis that make most noises. Some claim get better print quality on e-axis. I recommend you do your own research on google before place order.

Not while running a stock controller board. You would need to replace the stock controller with a RAMPS 1.4 or other controller that has tunable stepper drivers.
