Use hairspray on top of the blue tape for even better results. Some users prefer wood or cellulose based platforms to print on such as high density cardboard. Probably the best alternative and the cheapest is to use a really thick resume or sketch paper, roughly 80 pound weight. Glue down the paper with Elmer's glue stick on top of borosilicate glass. If you have a heated chamber, then please remember to pre-heat your chamber to reduce warping.

The recommended print temperature is between 210°C - 225°C. Please note that Acetal degrades when overheated and may give off small amounts of formaldehyde gas. Do not keep Acetal heated above 230°C. Therefore, please always use in a well ventilated area or in a ventilation system. Please keep Acetal away from moisture and always keep filament in an airtight container with a desiccant.

And carl while not the easiest material to print with it is available in filament form for 3d printers

You could run the bed from a dedicated supply through a solid state relay that the printer board controls.

Based on those properties it would not be a very suitable nor cooperative material to print with.

I'm using blue tape, which works fine with everything else...nylon, Ninjaflex, ABS, PETG, and PLA.
