Come to think of it, have you ever posted a print from your $10 dollar filament? I would honestly like to see this print with no issues without proper calibration. Again what one person says has no issues or is a good print is subjective. Let your peers be the judge.

The image does not look as nice as real object. It looks better when scale to real object size. There are definitely room for improvement, but good enough for what I need to do. I'm not doing it for art purpose, and I do some light sanding if parts don't fit perfectly.

This should be considered one of your more important calibration steps as it directly impacts print quality.

I do calibrate my feed rate experimentally for new filament, I just don't bother the measure the diameter. I only care if it is right diameter as long as it print out right. The diameter of filament difference does not directly translate to feed rate change, so I just calibrate my feed rate.
