hi there, i am new to the forum, and new to 3D printing

My wife bought me a XYZ Davinci Jr 1.0 for my birthday, now having done a quick bit of looking around, i have heard its a good entry level printer, and that you can only use their own filament as it is chipped.

But as a newbie, who has literally only printed out the test object that comes on the SD card with the machine i am after a little bit of knowledge from people that use these machines (you lot lol)

so any advice for a complete beginner would be grateful, and i hope i enjoy it as much as i believe i am going to enjoy the whole 3D printing world

Thank you in advance

Dave
