Well its sept 2024 i bought a da vinci nano with half a spool on it for 20.
Now its time for pla and im having the great fun of trying everything that might work.

I have tried every firmware and xyz maker suite 1.1.1 and 1.2 .
Paper tags wont work i have tried all the apps even the one for purchase on google play.

Does anyone know if this circuit board here works for nano?
If not does anyone know what works with nano specifically?
Would Emutag hwv1.3 work with nano?
Or is nano just hopeless.

Well since nobody responded and i found a solution by XYZ that actually worked for Nano and all others that was posted here 6 days later i figured id help anyone out who may still be looking.

Just installed the Rhys circuit, downgraded my da Vinci Jr. 1.0 to Firmware 2.2.6 because (2.4.4 didn't work)

It's working now properly!

First printing with the magnetic bed, much easier to remove the prints!

In appreciation to the work that you guys have done here, I would like to offer my tiny contribution sharing the link to the
XYZ Da Vinci Mini arm extension https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3290959 that I have designed to better suport 1kg filament reeels.

Another way is to simply remove the top plastic casing, cut a slit in the bottom casing (see picture) and lower the height of the spool holder.

I’m debating between this wonderful tool and the open filament spool holder they released.

Can someone fill a newcomer in on the pros and cons, differences?
I’d like to choose the best solution and if this allows temp control from a slicer or other means that’s awesome!

I got round to looking into this on the weekend.
I don't have a simple fix for this. I have an idea as to how to work round this new limitation but will require a redesign. This may take some time.

How many people currently have this issue (board not working with new firmware)? Please let me know if you have it the issue.

I just ordered one and I can't get this to work. I replaced the original NFC Reader Board with the one I got, then powered my printer on. I see a flashing green light from the emulator board and can change the temperature with a magnet but the software is saying that no spool is installed and I get no metres. What am I doing wrong?

My printer is a Da Vinci Mini w...
