They emailed about this also - it seems they're attempting to use a Filawinder power supply on a Filastruder, which is driving the power supply into over current protection.

If the controller is going on for a few seconds, then restarting, you have a short. What's happening is the OVP (over voltage protection) in the power supply is kicking on when it detects the short and cutting power, then it's resetting, coming back on, only to still detect too much current draw and turning off again. You can take a multimeter and test ohms/resistance of motor - that would tell you if it's the motor itself (if it reports a dead short), although it's far more likely some of your wiring isn't quite right.

Edit: On your video, I don't know if it's just the angle, but do you have a ground/black and a red wire going in together on the + side of the stall board? If you do have a + and - wire directly connected together - there's your short.

hi!
we have some trouble in assembly filastruder 2.0, we have mounted all mechanic parts and assembled electric circuit as write on manual, but if we connect the thermo couple when power on, thermo controller going on for a few second and then restart, if we switch on motor, thermo controller doesn't power on at all and motor going at times (as show in video).

we have tried to not put in thermo couple and thermo controller remain on (we have checked polarity and are ok), if we don't connect the motor, fan going on regular, maybe the motor have problem?

video

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gVw22QRWpbE

thanks!
