Hello
I am new to the 3d printer world and I am trying to improve my printer by changing over to auto levelling in the Marlin firmware.
My problem is that everything I read or look at is all slightly different and I believe it has to do with what version of the Marlin software the person has. So here is what I have and the problems:
I have version 1.6.12, so many sites say first activate the Bed Auto Levelling. Well in 1.6.12, there are 3 auto bed levelling choices and I picked the `Linear`` setting.
Next, all the sites recommend lifting the probe between each check. I can`t even find this in my version.
Finally I get an error when I verify. `` Auto bed levelling requires a probe! Define a Z servo, Z probe allen key, Z probe sled or fix mounted probe``. I can`t find this anywhere to fix the error.
If anyone has used this version of Marlin and was successful setting up the auto levelling, I would very much appreciate any help
Thanks
Cheers
Steve
