Not handy, just get approximate on the OD and ID. Then print a few and stop the print after 2,3,4&5 layers. I know the one I used was printed using .3 layer height 100% infil. Then I picked the one that was just a hair too big and it squished in there just fine. I did file a groove into the fins to aid with tightening the mount to the bulldog. One of those bolts is rather difficult to tighten otherwise. I ran that setup for 1000's of hours and it still works just fine. I did use the mount I designed for linear bearings and the bulldogXL https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:242746 That along with fish line instead of belts made for a very reliable and precise machine.

I was thinking that would be the easiest solution. Do you happen to remember the dimensions of that or have a file floating about?

Print a washer out of ABS and sandwich it between the two. Top of E3d and bottom of bulldog mount. This will quickly remove any play and is the best solution I used.

I'm in the midst of trying to get my Solidoodle 3 back in decent printing condition. I've installed RAMPS and a LCD screen.

I've got the Bulldog XL and a very old E3Dv6, maybe even a V5, it's so old I don't remember. The problem here is that my E3D and Bulldog never quite fit snug together and there is some wobble/play there. I'm not a 100% sure what I should do about that but I was looking at picking up the newer block upgrade with the thermistor cartridges because I'm tired of gluing thermistors in with the red stuff.

I came across that toranado, it looks interesting. Wondering if anyone has got that going? Any other suggestion on my fixing my E3D and Bulldog issues are welcome.

http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1246951
