I read a tag a few days ago with an RC522 and Arduino UNO.

I got the password back from the forum but it never authenticated.

Now the chip is reading 9999m remaining when installed in the printer and causes an error.

The tag is from the spool which came supplied with the printer.

I can still read the first 7 pages but the password fails every time.

I have modified a different card so my setup works.

Any ideas?
