for the most part the colors I have ordered have been what I expected... have not tried any of their browns tho
except the reds (Inland branded) - the ABS is not a pretty red, a bit on the dark, dull side for what I wanted & the PLA is a bit on the orange side. They are both ok, i guess, just not really want I wanted

The best red ABS I have found has been Hatchbox red.
Haven't really looked for a good red PLA as I don't run PLA much anymore.

My Local store is over an hour away. Over a half hour from work. I have been fortunate to be able to stop by a couple times on the way by. But for $ shipping I spend that on a bridge Toll and then that much on gas. So realy need to want to make the drive or be in the area for something else.

Heartless: How have the colors been I ordered SKU 986981 brown . It looks chocolate brown on the screen. The box is the same sku marked light brown it is more of a buttescotch brown . No complaint itis a better colr for what i need but seems a lot lighter than what i expected. In the store no worries as i can see filament coor before I buy. Just wondering ir you have been happy with the corors you get are they what is expected?

I have bought many a roll from Microcenter.com - i don't have an actual brick & mortar store near me. the closest is about 4 hours away (not exactly a quick "run out & get some" situation).

I almost always get my orders within 4 days and I live in the middle of no where.

In the past I have been fortunate to be going by a microcenter to buy filament.
I found myself needing a special color at least a color I have not purchased before.
I considered a roll of bay horse brown from precision 3d BUT $ 50 to get it and delivery.
So decided to try ordering on line from MC.
So a couple lessons learned. You can not use a PO box. They use fedex. I chose fedex home delivery.
We ordered Thursday evening , the packages shipped out of Fairfax Va Friday and arrived late this afternoon.
So more or less overnight delivery for $5 on a 1 kilo roll. Not bad. Fedex home service is Tues through Saturday.

The lesson here is for those who want to try microcenter filament but live no where near a microcenter in my experience no problem. I guess the only draw back would be placing an order on a Friday may take a little longer. Shipping times can vary yada yada.
It may be a North east thing But I have had good experience getting overnight service at standard ground rates from several vendors.
I somehow expected the shipment from my loca MC but no complaints on shipping time . The filament is in the printer.
