			<description><![CDATA[<p>You may need to set a &quot;coast&quot; value to not extrude as you approach the next layer.&nbsp; In S3D, the optimal is to apply a coast value of around .2 to .3 and a &quot;extra restart distance&quot; of around -.20 (note negative value) to retract slightly to eliminate blobs.&nbsp; After doing that, most of the ugly blobs went away.&nbsp; &nbsp;You can also apply a wipe operation on the nozzle too.</p>]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[<p>Heartless, I do understand that now, but when I first saw that I figured it only applied to that program. (I was a total newb then .. couldn&#039;t even spell 3d printer!)</p><p>So, I used some of the info to make some changes and I am fairly pleased with the results. I did a test piece and I think it looks much better. I moved all the way back to 205c for the head and put retraction back to 4.5 (I had cut it way back for some PETG I was using). I am going to reprint the other piece this morning and see how it looks.</p>]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[<p>As the title says, I did a print that has way too many nubbins/artifacts/bumpy bits.</p><p>Wanhao Duplicator I3 Plus<br />Cura Slicer<br />Brand new roll of PLA, opened for this project.<br />Bed 60, Head 225<br />Retract at !.5<br />Print speed at 25<br />Layer at .1</p><p>I have just changed to a Mark 10 all metal hot end. </p><p>The first prints I did with the all metal were just fine. All I had to do was adjust the bed slightly.</p><p>I am wondering if the nubblies are from not being sliced properly? Head too hot ... too cold? </p><p>Anyone have any ideas?</p><p>Tom</p>]]></description>
