753 hours is a LOT of print time so I'd expect some parts to have a fair amount of wear.
Having said that, if you're comfortable with electronics and a bit of diy, you should be able to fix/replace anything that might be on the way out.
On the face of it, it sounds not a bad deal. The Davinci printers can be turned into a seriously good printer with a bit of modding and upgrading so I would be tempted to go for this.

Neil :
depending on the printer a used printer can be a good deal it is how I started. I would say before you jump in read over the threads on the 2.0 here. And watch some video reviews on you tube. Davinci are very attractive on the price point but they do have there quirks. They can be a usable printer, But they are proprietary. and have a rep for poor customer support and you need to use there filament unless you mod them. IMHO they are a complicated way to start this hobby.

IMHO one to look at is this one

https://printedsolid.com/collections/3d … r-us-stock

Notice this price ($420)includes shipping.

filament can be found for $ 15 a roll at Micro center.

http://www.microcenter.com/category/429 … and-Resins

tin

Hi all, I'm not trying to sell anything, just looking for some guidance from the experts! I've seen a 2nd hand 3D printer for sale for around $350 with a few rolls of filament. I'm new to 3D printing and wondered if this is a good deal or would I be better of getting a new printer.

Thanks!

Neil.
