As long as the machines are the same model than one SD card from one should work in another.

So if one use shared copy from another machine of the same model, all he need to do is some calibration, correct?

I had to do the same, if your lucky the card is not too bad to recover the files from. As there are some files that you have to have on the card. In fact one thing I would advise all XYZ owners to do is to remove the card from day one and make a copy of it. That way when the cheap card they use fails you will have a copy to put on a new card.

Open the back panel, remove the card and reseat it..

Hello and thank you for the response. That was exactly it. I just took out and reinserted the sd card and it worked like a charm.

If you are using a stock board then you must have the SDcard in the board and plugged in securely. It must also have all of the original files intact on it. The machine uses this card as a temporary hard drive and there are files on it that it needs to run. Even though you use a USB cable it still puts the file on the card and runs from the card. The cable only allows you to monitor status.

I keep getting error 0040 about 20 minutes into my print. This doesn't make sense because I have it hooked up directly with a usb cable. How can I fix this or get more than 20 minutes out of a print on this printer? The website doesn't say anything either. Any help would be appreciated.
