Tin Thanks for the suggestion. This sounds great! And not much more than the XYZ PLA filament.
Do you know if it will work in the Da Vinci Jr? Will I need to do a hack of some kind? Thanks

G B it's my understanding the metal powder fills do not necessary ad strength it is more for added mass/ feel and appearance.
IMHO you may want to try some of the Raptor series PLA from Maker geeks. I have not tried it yet but looks impressive. It is FDA approved , dishwasher safe and has similar tensile strength as aluminum. The specs are impressive and should work well for your application. itis about $ 37 a roll.

http://www.makergeeks.com/disafdaaphip3.html

Hi 3Dex - I got the guide tube squared away - I unscrewed the funnel and it fell inside Instead of pulling the guide tube out to trim as they suggested- so I was able to take it apart & put it back together with a little direction & support. you can see some of our regular treats at www.giggybites.com I attached a pic of some of our fun summer treats.
I got the 3D printer because when I ordered cookie cutters they were coming 3D printed I decided to take the plunge! Do any of your funky filaments like copper or stainless steel work with the Davinci Jr? The cookie cutters that we make with the PLA hold up ok but something a little stronger would be awesome. The good thing about it is if they get broken I can make another one in about an hour
