I had same issue with the X-Axis and used multi meter to find the broken wire. Cut off 2 inches from each connecter and soldered new wire with heat shrink tubing to cover and now works like new.

Yes it was one wire that had intermittent disconnect. I've now removed the two wire bundle straps so the wire bundle now flexes at the top of the bundle before it goes down to the motherboard.
So it should have a new wire fatigue lifetime there, and not at the motor head which now does not flex much. We will see if the bundle gets tangled.

The x axis is downing a nasty jitter. It moves to the correct position on calibration.
Yet on the demo file (last one on menu), it does a nasty x axis jitter and then attempts to print off the platform to the right.

Could it be a bad file? Is the stepper shot.
Occasionally on turn on I get error 30, which is the x axis could not move or the x sensor not working?

Is the sensor magnetic? Is it robust, just check wiring to it?

I have not printed for many months. Just decided to get the glass platform fix done (filled in glass pits with high temp epoxy).
