I guess the powers that be are working on supporting the new cam. It seems like it has growing pains. I have to say one thing though, playing with photogrametry and free lss is giving fairly good resuls. With that said I think the 8mp camera has a much much sharper image. It will be an interesting couple of months to come.

I finally got to play with the premium version of the software. Love it. With that said, is the 8mp sony camera worth the upgrade on this scanner? From what I have seen the 8mp camera has a top notch lens and clarity. I wonder if it makes any major difference? At 8mp Atlass scanner would be a nice machine rivaling the big boys.

Any ideas?
