It comes up the back of the printer from the main board, follows the top around the left side, then comes down the front to the display. I accidentally cut it at the back of the printer by somehow pushing it into the metal frame while trying to insert a spool. You should probably just make sure it's connected at both ends and intact.

The symptoms were exactly the same - buttons worked but the display was blank. I suspect it's just that the LCD control/power lines are on one side and the button lines are on the other.

So I was installing my E3D V6 on my Da Vinci 1.0A when all of a sudden my LCD goes blank. No light, no bars, nothing. I wondered if it was a faulty LCD, but it's interesting that the buttons on the LCD still work as they still produce a noise when pressed so it's just the screen which doesn't make a whole lot of sense. Anyone care to help me out?
